She has responsibility for overseeing all functions, employees, and facilities of the resort.

In her own words...................

Enrika Domnina Maduro born on October 12, 1956 in Aruba . 
I was raised by my parents Fransicus and Josepha Maduro, along with my six brothers and sisters.

I attended kindergarten, grade school and high school in Santa Cruz, the town I grew up in.

I met my future husband, Adolfo Miguel Arends while attending high school, and we became high school sweethearts.

We had our first baby on March 24, 1975 - a beautiful baby girl - we named her Shakira Zayma Arends. After five years, we had our second child, a handsome baby boy on August 29, 1980. Shakira gave him his name, Ursell Mikhail.
His second name Mikhail is because I admired the then president of Russia, Mr. Mikhail Gorbachov. My husband and children were all born on the beautiful island of Aruba. We also have two more members of our family, our two female Chihuahuas, Laa-Laa and Gordita.

I was hired at La Quinta Beach Resort on May 7, 1990 as a front office agent.

On November 9, 1993 , I was promoted as the Assistant to the Manager with full authority at the front desk. 
On September 7, 1999 I was appointed as the Front-Office Manager and on October 18, 1999 as the Assistant Resort Manager. On November 1, 2000 , I became Acting Resort Manager. After eleven years with La Quinta Beach Resort, I was appointed Resort Manager on August 29, 2001 .

While working here, I have met so many nice people. During all these years with La Quinta Beach Resort I have been a dedicated worker because I love my job. I like what I do very much. My family understands that too.
